Staff of the “Dendrology Garden” attended in the exhibition-sales fair “Independence Day – Youth, Art and Handicrafts”
The exhibition-sales fair “Independence Day – Youth, Art and Handicrafts” dedicated to “May 28 Independence Day” was organized in front of the Mardakan Cultural House by the Executive Power of Khazar District.
The fair showcased the handicrafts of students studying in vocational classes of the Baku State Vocational Education Center for Culture and Crafts and secondary schools of the district. The event was attended by Deputy Head of the Khazar Regional Administrative District Lala Ahmadova, employees of the Regional Administrative District Administration, the district community, departments, enterprises and organizations.
The event opened with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the host informed the guests about the history of this crucial day. It was noted that the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic has a special place in our history.
The guests viewed the exhibition consisting of works by juveniles artists.
Then the exhibition and sales fair started. The handicrafts exhibited and put up for sale in carpentry, tailoring, furniture assembly, cooking, confectionery, jewelry, agronomy and other profiles were met with interest by the event organizers.
The handicrafts that the students prepared in the workshops during the year reflected not only their professional skills, but also their creative potential.
Young musicians representing the region also performed at the event.
Employees of the Dendrology Garden public legal entity under the authority of the head of the Executive Power of Baku City also took part (participated) in the fair.
