An event dedicated to the National Liberation Day of June 15 was held in Khazar district

On 13 June, an event titled “From National Liberation to Independent Azerbaijan” dedicated to the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to political power - June 15, National Liberation Day was held in Khazar district, jointly organized by the Executive Power of District and the New Azerbaijan Party Khazar District Organization. 
The event was attended by the head of Executive Power of Khazar District Elshan Salahov, Chairman of the Khazar District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party Namig Ahmadov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Dendrology Garden” public legal entity under the authority of the head of the Executive Power of Baku City, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology, Associate Professor Samira Baghirova, deputies of the head of the Regional Administration, heads of departments, heads of education, health, departments and institutions, representatives of the head of the Regional Administration in administrative territorial districts, municipal chairmen and the public of the region.
The participants of the event first laid flowers in front of the monument to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and paid tribute to the memory of the national leader. 
The event, held in the administrative building of the NAP Khazar District Organization, was opened by the head of the NAP, E. Salahov. 
E. Salahov said that more than fifty years of the history of Azerbaijan in the 20th century are closely connected with the personality of Heydar Aliyev and his awesome constructive activity. 
“Heydar Aliyev is the founder of the new Azerbaijan. The great son of the people, using the rich economic potential and extensive opportunities of a great state like the Soviet Union, pursued a policy of putting Azerbaijan on the path of progress and dedicated his entire life to his native people. Today, Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, who successfully continues his political course, has introduced a unified Azerbaijan to the world and managed to draw the world's attention to our country,” he said. 
Namig Ahmadov, Chairman of the NAP Khazar District Organization, talked about the successful political course of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. 
Deputy Chairman of the “Dendrology Garden” PLE, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology, Associate Professor Samira Baghirova said in her speech that the National Leader, who served the Azerbaijani people with all his thought and energy during his activity, returned to Baku as a savior on 15 June, 1993 and saved our country from political chaos and fragmentation, preserved and strengthened national statehood. S.Baghirova noted that the political course laid by the national leader, which brought Azerbaijan unparalleled achievements, is being successfully continued today.
Namig Ahmadov, Chairman of the Khazar District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, and Tavakkul Salimov, Chairman of the Khazar District Intellectuals Society, talked in their speeches about the services rendered by the National Leader to independent Azerbaijan.
A film about the social, political and historical significance of Liberation Day was also illustrated to the guests at the event. 
Then, individuals who actively participated in the socio-political life of the Khazar district were awarded with Honorary Decrees and valuable gifts.
