Today is Youth Day in Azerbaijan

According to the Decree signed by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev on 2 February, 1997, today is declared the Youth Day of Azerbaijan.
In order to successfully implement state policy in the youth sector, the National  Leader Heydar Aliyev took another step that will be an example for the whole world - he ensured the formation of the necessary legislative framework in this area. Decrees and orders, state programs aimed at solving social, economic, etc. problems of young people, helping them develop their abilities can be an example of this.
Heydar Aliyev's trust in youth and young people is already being confirmed today. Today, youth policy in Azerbaijan is experiencing a new stage in essence and quality. President Ilham Aliyev confirms the national leader's commitment to youth policy with his decisions. 
The projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation under the leadership of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva to reveal the talents and abilities of young people are a reliable guarantee of the future of the growing generation. The successful implementation of the policy in this field in our country has created ample opportunities for young people to develop their knowledge and skills in all spheres of life.
