Youth Day was celebrated at the “Dendrology Garden” Public Legal Entity (PLE) and employees were awarded

On 2 February, a general meeting was held at the “Dendrology Garden” Public Legal Entity (PLE) under the authority of the head of the Executive Power of Baku City on the occasion of Youth Day. Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Dendrology Garden” Public Legal Entity, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology, Associate Professor Samira Baghirova congratulated all staff working at the enterprise.

She noted that the Azerbaijan Youth Day was declared in accordance with the Decree of the national leader Heydar Aliyev dated February 2, 1997. Emphasizing that the Great Leader always cared about young people and paid attention to solving their problems, S.Baghirova emphasized that the youth policy founded by the Great Leader is being successfully continued today. “The training of high-level personnel in our country has always been in the focus of the Great Leader.

During the reign of Heydar Aliyev, young people distinguished by their special abilities and intellect were sent to investigate abroad. The youth policy founded by the National Leader is currently being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. As a consequence of this care, the number of young scientists has also increased recently.”

Noting that the number of young personnel and skilled researchers participating in prestigious projects has increased at the enterprise she heads, S. Baghirova emphasized that all necessary steps are being taken to increase their knowledge and abilities and to involve them more actively in scientific research.

Highly appreciating the initiative, patriotism, skills in scientific research and responsible behavior in public affairs of creative young people, the Deputy Chairman called on them to be active, follow contemporary scientific trends, and contribute to the development of the enterprise and the country. “Once again, I congratulate you on Youth Day and wish you much success in your professional and creative activities and personal lives,” said S.Baghirova.

At the end, awards were given and certificates of appreciation were presented to young staff who distinguished themselves with their fruitful activities in the scientific and social life of the institution.
