CULTIVATION OF SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURAL CROPS ADAPTED TO CHANGING ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

This study examines the cultivation of sustainable crops adapted to evolving environmental conditions and the challenges posed by climate change. It analyzes how factors like climate, soil, and water resources impact agriculture, addressing issues such as soil erosion and water scarcity. Emphasis is placed on selecting plant species that align with climate and soil conditions, prioritizing crops with lower water requirements. The resilience of sustainable crops to extreme weather conditions is highlighted, along with the importance of soil conservation and efficient resource use. Additionally, the study discusses the need to preserve biodiversity and focus on pest-resistant crop varieties. Technologies such as agroecological practices, conservation agriculture, advanced irrigation, and genetic improvements are presented as essential tools for sustainable agriculture. The paper concludes by discussing the ecological and economic benefits of sustainable farming, asserting its critical role in food security and environmental conservation.
