The collective of the "Dendrology Garden" PLE visited the monument "Ana Harayi" erected to the memory of the martyrs of Khojaly

On February 26, the collective of the Public Legal Entity "Dendrology Garden" under the power of the head of the Executive Power of Baku City visited the monument "Ana Harayi" erected to the memory of the martyrs of Khojaly.

Employees remember with respect and reverence to memory of the victims of the Khojaly tragedy and laid flowers in front of the monument.

It should be noted that on the night of February 25-26, 1992, Armenian armed groups destroyed the city of Khojaly with the participation of the 366th regiment of the former Soviet army located in the city of Khankendi. As a result of the next massacre committed by the Armenian aggressors against the people of Azerbaijan, 613 people, including 106 women, 63 children, and 70 elderly people were killed with particular cruelty, 1275 civilians were captured, and the fate of 150 people is still unknown. As a result of this act of genocide, 8 families were completely destroyed, 25 children lost both parents, and 130 children lost one of their parents.

Although 32 years have passed, the people of Azerbaijan do not forget this bloody massacre, the act of terrorism against our compatriots by Armenian vandals, the genocide, and cherish the memory of the martyrs of Khojaly.
Today, our Armed Forces, lead by Victorious Commander-In-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, completely liberated Karabakh from occupation. Khankendi, Askaran, Agdara, Khojavand and Khojaly are free. 32 years ago, on that cold winter day, the souls of our compatriots who died in Khojaly, our heroes who were martyred for Khojaly, are happy.
