A tree-planting action was held in Khazar district within the framework of the "Green World Solidarity Year"

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 25, 2023 on the declaration of 2024 as the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" in the Republic of Azerbaijan, a tree -planting action was held in the Khazar district.

On March 30, Executive Power of Khazar district and the public legal entity "Dendrology Garden" (PLE) with mutual organization which action in Gala settlement took part the head of the Executive Power of Khazar district Elshan Salahov and his deputies, the chairman of the Khazar Region of the NAP Namig Ahmadov, the deputy chairman of the Administrative Personnel of the “Dendrology Garden” PLE, PhD in biology, associate professor Samira Baghirova, representatives of the institution, heads of departments, enterprises and organizations, members of the families of martyrs and representatives of the district community.

200 pyramidal pine trees were planted and watered by the participants of the action and agrotechnical care was provided to them. Poles are buried to protect the planted trees from the wind.

 The purpose of tree planting actions is to increase the green areas, to restore the ecological balance of the district, and consist among people to promote the care for nature.

It should be noted that within the framework of the "Green World Solidarity Year ", held regularly tree-planting actions are planned in the district.
