Specialists of the "Dendrology Garden" public legal entity participated in the international scientific conference

The opening ceremony of the 5th International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Researchers dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at SOCAR's Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS). SOCAR Vice -President Ziba Mustafayeva, SOCAR Executive Director for Communications Aygun Huseynova and other officials participated in the conference.

Rector of the Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov, who opened the event with an opening speech, said that educating and supporting young scientists is one of the essential missions of the Baku Higher Oil School, and that the conferences make a great contribution to directing young people to scientific and research work in Azerbaijan.

At the conference, the specialists of the "Ecology and Acclimatization" laboratory of the “Dendrology Garden” public legal entity made a poster presentation. The thesis entitled "Restoration of structurally disturbed lands for the sake of a green world" authored by associate professor Samira Baghirova, Atayeva Leyla, Safarov Mirhuseyn, Nasirli Lala, Aghayeva Jamala, Ahmadova Sariyya was accepted by the organizing committee of the conference and is planned to be published in the conference collection.

It should be noted that the 5th International Scientific Conferences of Students and Young Researchers include the topics "Towards Sustainable Chemistry and Chemical Engineering", "INFOTECH 2024" and "Oil and Gas Geology and Engineering". The conferences will be end on May 1.
