Employees of the public legal entity "Dendrology Garden" participated in the scientific-practical conference

On April 26, 2024, a scientific-practical conference on topic "Green economy and sustainable development" was held under the joint organization of Lankaran State University (LDU) and Lankaran-Astara Regional Youth and Sports Enterprise.

At the opening, the advisor to the rector of LSU, professor Mikayil Maharramov said that the conference is dedicated to the solution of very essential global problems, and talked about the work done in this direction in the world and in Azerbaijan.

At the session of the scientific conference entitled "Possibilities for the development of the green economy in Azerbaijan", specialists of the public legal entity "Dendrology Garden" Shanay Albaliyeva and Aydan Aghamaliyeva made a speech with theses "Application of essential oil plants in the green economy", Sevinj Yusifova made a speech "Introduction of Psidium guajava L. in Absheron and prospects of its use in greening", Lala Nasirli made a speech "Pinus eldarica Medw. in Absheron peninsula parks and gardens effect of environmental changes on the species".

 The reports fully covered the research work done for "For The Green World" and the important results obtained. Employees distinguished by the organizational committee were awarded certificates, abstracts were planned to be published in the conference materials.
