"Dendrology Garden" public legal entity cooperates with various Botanical Gardens and Institutes of the world

It is crucial to carry out scientific-research works in the direction of enrichment of plant resources, maintenance and defense of the gene pool "for the sake of a green world" in our republic.

In order to increase the wealth of flora and to carry out the research work of young specialists, the "Ecology and Acclimatization" laboratory of the "Dendrology Garden" public legal entity carries out seed exchange with various Botanical Gardens and Institutes of the world. A total of 61 species, 50 genera, and 32 genera seed samples were obtained from botanical gardens of Iceland, Slovakia and Norway.

Cornus suecica L., Rhodiola rosea L., Drosera anglica Huds., Andromeda polifolia L., Arctostaphylos uva-ursi Spreng., Arctous alpina Nied., Phyllodoce caerulea Bab., Thalictrum flavum L., Trollius europaeus L., Frangula alnus Mill. ., Geum rivale Bourg.ex Nyman., Saxifraga cotyledon L., Digitalis purpurea L., Chiliotrichum rosmarinifolium Less., Leucanthemum vulgare Lam., Euonymus sachalinensis Maxim., Tripterygium wilfordii Hook.f., Enkianthus cernuus Makino f., Rhododendron albrechtii Maxim., Rhododendron quinquefolium Bisset., Vaccinium koreanum Nakai., Hamamelis japonica Siebold., Crocus vernus Hill., Pterocarya rhoifolia Siebold., Sorbus bissetii McAll., Acer shirasawanum Koidz., Srewartia pseidocamellia Maxim., Trochodendron aralioides Siebold. seeds of the species were obtained through exchange from the Botanical Garden of the University of Bergen, Norway, and were introduced in the research areas and greenhouses of the "Dendrology Garden".
