President Ilham Aliyev attended reopening of newly renovated Narimanov Park in Baku
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Narimanov Park in the Narimanov district of Baku as it reopened after undergoing major renovations on 15 July.
Eldar Azizov, the head of Executive Power of Baku City briefed the President on the park's newly developed facilities.
The park was originally established in the 1950s with an area of 4.1 hectares.
The redesign includes various new amenities such as rest areas, entertainment facilities including a refurbished fountain square, and enhanced green spaces. Outdated structures have been removed, while existing public amenities have been modernized. New lighting, sports facilities, and playgrounds have also been installed, and significant upgrades have been made to the park's engineering and communication networks for efficient rainwater drainage.
