At the II International Conference "Mountains: Cultures, Landscapes and Biodiversity" was announced for participation requirements
As reported, the II International Conference “Mountains: Cultures, Landscapes and Biodiversity" will be held with under the joint organization of the Western Caspian University, International Climbing and Mountaineering (Alpinism) Federation (UIAA).
The Organization Committee announced the criteria for those who want to participate at the conference.
The fundamental requirements to articles:
Articles must be formatted according to the requirements of BIO Web of Conferences (https://www.bio-conferences.org/) https://www.webofconferences.org/ bio-web-of-conferences-forthcoming-conferences Formatting rules for articles (Web of Conferences – 170 x 250 mm paper size, one column format)
1. The size of the article is 3000-8000 words (the optimal size is 4000-5000 words)
2. The originality of the text of the article should be at least 95%.
3. Microsoft Word editor for Windows should be utilized to write text, formulas and tables. All images must be submitted in jpeg or png format. (eg Figure 1. Figure caption). Any drawings (including graphs and charts) should be equally informative in both color and black and white. Scanned objects are not permitted, images must be clear and text clearly visible.
4. Tables are placed in the article itself (for instance, table 3. Name of the table). Scanned objects are not allowed, each table must have a description in the text of the article.
5. Formatting of article data: A) full name of the article; B) Short version of the article title (Running title); C) Name, patronymic, author’s surname of the article (in full);
6. The article should have a structure, logical and conceptual unity of the text. Headings (Titles) should be written: Abstract. Keywords. Introduction. Literature review. Materials and methods. Discussion. Results (Conclusion). Thanks, if any. List of references (References).
6.1. Abstract - optimal volume 150-250 words. If the requirements are not redeem, the publisher reserves the right to partically change, decrease or increase the volume of the abstract. In the abstract the following should be:
A) The relevance and appropriateness of the research of the problem (a brief (short) and concise description of the relevance of the researched problem);
B) The aim of the article;
C) Leading method for studying the problem (if the article is empirical) / Leading approach to studying the problem (if the article is in theoretical feature);
D) Author's consequences (defined, justified, disclosed, worked out, proven in the article); E) Practical and theoretical significance of the obtained results (increase/improvement of efficiency, growth, etc.) INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE MOUNTAINS: BIODIVERSITY, LANDSCAPES AND CULTURES
6.2. Keywords – 5-7 words about the essence of the article. Keywords are separated by semicolons each other; 6.3. In the introduction the following should be:
A) Compilation of the text of the section from general to specific;
B) Formation of the research hypothesis;
C) Formation of the research purpose and duties;
6.4. The literature review should be from the following groups:
A) Introduction (define the topic and give reasons for its selection. You can also note emerging trends, problems and topics in general);
B) The main section (review the your sources. You can organize your comment (examination of the issue) in chronological, thematic or methodological sequence);
C) Conclusion (summarization of the main publications, appreciate of the current situation and indicate lack of in methodology, research gaps, controversies and future research directions);
D) In the literature review, it is necessary to refer only to the existing market - at least 20 (E-library, articles indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, etc. (articles in English)).
6.5. In the section of Materials and methods the following should be:
A) Determination experimental of the base and research example;
B)Separately description of every method and technique (separately in paragraphs) in detail, however the same at the time compact. Sometimes it is necessary to describe why a particular method was chosen.
C) Brief description of the experimental/research project.
6.6. The consequences the following should be include:
A) Presenting merely experimental data;
B) All the figures and tables must have explanations indicating the transition to a certain table or figure;
C) Compilation of all basic statistics (number of samples, dispersion index, levels, etc.).
6.7. Discussion section layout:
A) A brief overview of your research;
B) A brief description of the most significant results identified in the Results section and their comparison with other studies on similar topics, highlighting problem areas and missing certain aspects.

6.8. The Conclusion section consists of:
A) Brief presentation of the research problem, the results obtained by the author during the research;
B) Summarizing the research results (each paragraph should be dedicated to answering the tasks set in the Introduction or should be an argument to prove the provisions of the hypothesis stated in the Introduction (if any);
7. In the Acknowledgments section, before the "Bibliography" section, information about the grant, funding, subsidy (if any), as well as someone you want to thank, is placed at the end of the article;
8. Self-reference of the authors in the article - no more than 1 2 links to the works of each author of the article; Articles will be indexed in the SCOPUS database if they meet the requirements of BIO Web of Conferences and undergo rigorous peer review.
Registration Article publication is paid, $250. (bank details will be sent to e-mails) Accepted theses will be published free of charge in the collection of scientific materials of the conference.

It should be noted that the conference will take place on 5-6 November, 2024. Among the organizers of the conference was the public legal entity "Dendrology Garden" under the authority of the head of Executive Power of Baku City. Vice-Chairman of the Management Board of the Dendrology Garden, PhD in Biology, Associate Professor Samira Baghirova is a member of the organizing committee of the conference.
