An employee of "Dendrology Garden" public legal entity participated in training

On 12-13 September 2024, the training "Integrated pest control methods (IPM) against harmful organisms in fruit and vegetable growing" was held under the joint organization of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Buta Agro and Bio-technology LLC.  Leyla Atayeva, head of the "Ecology and Acclimatization" laboratory of the public legal entity "Dendrology Garden" also participated in the training.

Trainers Shovgi Lelashov, Sergey Tertychniy, Denis Morozov, Vladimir Pismenchuk convey to the participants about IPM in pome fruits, control of harmful organisms without using chemical pesticides, methods of biological control against greenhouse gnats and mites.

In the training, detailed discussions were held about diseases prevalent in Azerbaijan, especially on the Absheron Peninsula.

On the second day of the training, practical exercises were held in the "Buta Agro" greenhouse complex.

Certificates were presented to the participants who successfully completed the training.
