The 2nd International Conference "Mountains: Biodiversity, Landscapes and Cultures" has ended at Western Caspian University
On 6 November, the 2nd International Conference entitled "Mountains: Biodiversity, Landscapes and Cultures", hosted by the Western Caspian University and co-organized by the public legal entity "Dendrology Garden" under the authority of the head of Executive Power of Baku City, continued.
Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of "Dendrology Garden", PhD in Biology, associate professor Samira Baghirova made a speech at the conference.
Greeting the participants of the conference, Samira Baghirova said that holding an international conference on mountains, biodiversity, landscapes and cultures is of essential significance in the conditions of global warming and climate change that worry the world and in the period when an crucial symposium such as COP29 is being held in our country.
She expressed his deeply gratitude to the staff of the Western Caspian University, for the organization, especially Mr. Huseyn Baghirov. The employees of "Dendrology Garden" public legal entity made their presentations at the panel meetings.
Eployees of "Dendrology Garden" PLE made a speech, Seljan Safaraliyeva, “Ecological evaluation of the use of pesticides used in palm, elm, tree plants in Azerbaijan", Shanay Albaliyeva, "Introduction of thyme to the Absheron peninsula, study of its biomorphological features and acquisition of essential oil", Sariyya Ahmadova, "Environmental changes effect on Olea l. genus”.
At the end, certificates were presented to the researchers who participated in the conference.
Articles presented at the conference will be indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases.
