Employees of the “Dendrology Garden” were awarded - “February 2 - Azerbaijan Youth Day” was celebrated in the Khazar district

A ceremony (festive) event was held on the occasion of “February 2 - Azerbaijan Youth Day” organized by the Executive Power of Khazar District.

The event, held jointly with the Mardakan Culture Palace, was attended by the head of the Executive Power of Khazar District Elshan Salahov, Member of the Milli Majlis Soltan Mammadov, Chairman of the Khazar District Organization of the NAP Namig Ahmadov, Secretary of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union Ilgar Fahmi, Deputy Chairman of the Management Staff of the “Dendrology Garden” public legal entity under the authority of the head of the Executive Power of Baku City, PhD in Biology Samira Baghirova, and employees of the institution, heads of law enforcement agencies, representatives of educational, healthcare, cultural institutions, young people actively participating in the socio-political and cultural life of the region, and participants of the Patriotic War.

First, an exhibition organized in the lobby of the Palace of Culture was viewed. The exhibition exhibited handicrafts of young artists on various topics.

The event began with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a minute of silence in memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country.

Congratulating the youth on the occasion of February 2 - Azerbaijan Youth Day, the head of the Executive Power of Khazar District, Elshan Salahov, made a speech and emphasized the significance of this day, the foundation of which was laid by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

Made a speech, a MP of the Milli Majlis, Soltan Mammadov, noted that today, youth policy in our country is experiencing a new stage in essence and quality. President Ilham Aliyev confirms the National Leader's commitment to youth policy with his decisions.

At the event, a group of young people who have been active in the socio-political and cultural life of the region and have achieved high achievements were awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the head of the Executive Power of Khazar District and a commemorative was taken photo.

Among those awarded were Leyla Atayeva and Shabnam Ashrafova, employees of the Dendrology Garden public legal entity under the authority of the head of the Executive Power of Baku City.

After the awards, the event continued with a concert program.
