On 3 March, 2025, a tree planting campaign was held in the Mardakan Science and Experiment Area, which is under the balance of the “Dendrology Garden” Public Legal Entity (PLE) under the authority of the head of the Executive Power of Baku City, jointly organized by the “Dendrology Garden” Public Legal Entity (PLE), the Khazar Youth House and the Baku City Youth and Sports Department on the occasion of “March 5 – Physical Education and Sports Day”.

The aim of the campaign is to assist restore ecological balance, protect the environment, enrich the atmosphere with oxygen, and draw public attention to the defense of greenery.

It was noted that by organizing such an ecological campaign, the significance of environmental protection is brought to the attention of people, especially the younger generation, and calls on them to joint action in the struggle against environmental issues.

The participants of the action provided agrotechnical care to the planted trees, took crucial organizational and technical measures for their protection and irrigation, and buried poles to defend the planted trees from the wind.

The actions will go on to increase greenery in the region.

The action was also supported by environmental volunteers.
