Today is 8th March  - International Women's Day.
Although historically associated with the struggle for the rights of working women, over time it has acquired a broader meaning, becoming a celebration of elegance, an expression of respect and love for women. 

Azerbaijani women have always been the spiritual pillar of our society and have always lived with lofty ideals.
Our noble and wonderful mothers have played an unparalleled role in preserving our cultural and spiritual wealth, which has been formed over thousands of years. 
Our women have made exceptional contributions to the history of contemporary Azerbaijan. 

Azerbaijani women have a great share in the victory we achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War.
Today, Azerbaijani women are already active participants in the socio-political, economic, and cultural life of our country.

They make significant contributions to solving fateful national issues. Their achievements in science, education, culture, healthcare, and other fields confirm that Azerbaijani women have great potential.
The National Leader Heydar Aliyev, who laid the foundation of the state-women policy in our country, treated the female personality with great respect. The National Leader devoted a special place to women in all spheres of the country's life, gave them a wide field for their comprehensive activities, and raised women leaders. 

Today, President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues the state women's policy. 
Consistent measures are being taken in our country to strengthen gender policy and enhance the role of women in society. 
Our women work with determination and responsibility in all higher bodies of the country.
