The staff of the “Dendrology Garden” PLE celebrated Ilakhir Charahanba
Today is Ilakhir Charshanba in Azerbaijan. The last Wednesday of Novruz is also called Soil Charshanba. When the Soil Charshanba ripens, the soil is ready for sowing and seeds can be sown on it.
On Ilakhir Charshanba, gardens, melons, and pastures are prepared for sowing. In homes, a symbol of greenery and the revival of nature is placed on the table. Bonfires are lit in the yards, children throw hats in joy, doors are knocked on, and red ribbons are tied.
The collective of the “Dendrology Garden” public legal entity under the authority of the head of the Executive Power of Baku City celebrated Ilakhir Charshanba, remaining true to tradition and national values.
Make a speech to the staff, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dendrology Garden, PhD in Biology, Associate Professor Samira Baghirova said that Novruz is a national holiday that preserves our centuries-old moral values and traditions. According to her, Spring Festival is celebrated in all corners of our country as a truly national holiday with official status.
Samira Baghirova congratulated the employees on the holiday, wishing them health and long life, and a year full of peace and tranquility for our country.
Then, the friendly staff of the Dendrology Garden walked around the magnificent Wednesday bonfire, held an egg fight, and took commemorative photos.
