Ornamental shrub (bush) and flower seeds obtained from Canada will be introduced in Dendrology Garden

By the staff of the “Ecology and Acclimatization” laboratory of the “Dendrology Garden” public legal entity (PLE) from The University of British Columbia (UBC) Botanical Garden Universitety of Canada will introduce Cypella coelestis (Lehm.) Diels, Tigridia orthantha (Lem.) Ravenna, Fritillaria affinis (Schult. & Schult.f.) Sealy, Nothofagus antarctica (G.Forst.) Oerst., Abies bracteata (D.Don) Poit., Calycanthus occidentalis Hook. & Arn., Rhododendron columbianum (Piper) Harmaja, Vaccinium cespitosum Michx., Cercis occidentalis Torr. ex A.Gray, Lilium kelleyanum Lemmon, Fremontodendron californicum (Torrey) Coville, Abies concolor (Gordon & Glend.) Lindl. ex Hildebr., Cercocarpus ledifolius. intermontanus N.Holmgren, Darlingtonia californica Torr., Heuchera micrantha Douglas ex Lindl. seeds of ornamental shrubs and flowers were purchased. 
The seeds were obtained in order to ensure environmental sustainability and enrich plant collections. 
The laboratory's expert staff studied the bioecological features of the species obtained through exchange and planned their introduction in the research areas and greenhouses located on the territory of the "Dendrology Garden".
