Next tree planting action was held in the capital

In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, work is being continued increasing greenery area, restoring the ecological balance and protecting the environment in Baku.

According to the information provided to Trend by the Executive Power of Baku City, on October 28, mass tree-planting actions organized by the Executive Power of  Baku City and the "Regional Development" Public Union (RDPU) with the participation of employees of the structures of the Executive Power of  Baku City and volunteers of the RDPU 400 pine trees were planted in Garadagh region.

The issues of regularly maintenance and irrigation of trees have been resolved.

Also, new 50 fast-growing and beautiful flowering Paulownia plants for Absheron's climate  were planted in the "Nizami Ganjavi" park.

Mass planting of Paulownia plant and other shrubs and trees blooming in various colors is carried out of the planting of drought-resistant plants suitable for the local climate in Baku due to the danger of global climate changes and water scarcity.

During the season, it is planned to continue activities related to the greening of the capital area, maintenance of greenery.
