Employees of Dendrology Garden participated in the conference held at Lankaran State University
On December 22, 2023, the employees of "Dendrology Garden" Public Legal Entity participated in the International Scientific Conference on "Protection of biological diversity and to ecologically sustainable socio-economic development" at Lankaran State University (LSU).
We should be noted that researchers from about 20 higher educational institutions and scientific organizations of the country participated in the International Scientific Conference at LSU in online and offline format.
More than 100 thesis were heard in the "Environmental sustainability and alternative development" and "Biodiversity protection and sustainable development" sections. In the international scientific conference, the USA, Russia, Great Britain, Italy, Turkey, Kazakhstan, etc. Researchers participated from more than 10 countries.
Employees of "Dendrology Garden" PLE – performed with Shenay Albaliyeva, lead specialist-laboratorian of the "Economically importance plants" laboratory "The role and chemical analysis of Pinus eldarica Medw. in the protection of Absheron biodiversity", Hokuma Mehraliyeva, senior specialist-laboratorian of the "Dendrochronology" laboratory, "Dendrochronological analysis of the Pinus eldarica Medw. species, which has high prospects in greening", Leyla Atayeva, head of the "Ecology and climate" laboratory, "Prospects of the use of the "Garden Ointment" preparation in the protection of biological diversity" and Sariyya Ahmadova, senior laboratorian- specialist of the same laboratory, thesis "Technogen polluted soils of the Absheron peninsula and apply of the phytoremediation method against pollution".
Rector of the university, doctor of mathematical sciences, professor Natig Ibrahimov accepted this invitation and high appreciated the participation of the employees in the conference and have wished them success in their future work. Based on the results of the experts' research work, thesis and articles will be published in the conference materials.
