New Year's greetings from the Board of Directors of the “Dendrology Garden”Public Legal Entity
Dear compatriots, staff of the “Dendrology Garden”Public Legal Entity (PLE)!
Today is one of the most cherished holidays of the Azerbaijani people - the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis, a holiday of unity and equality, and at the same time we welcome the new year 2026. The year 2025 that we have set out was remembered with crucial events in the life of the Azerbaijani people. Our country, under the leadership of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, has achieved significant socio-economic and political successes, and Azerbaijan's economic power and international relations have been further strengthened.
The year 2025 that we have set out was remembered as a successful year for both our country and “Dendrology Garden”. As “Dendrology Garden”, we have signed successful projects and cooperation agreements.
2026 has been declared the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture” in our country by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
“Year of Urban Planning and Architecture” will focus on expanding green zones in cities and towns, creating green belts and ecological corridors, taking into account ecological balance as the basic criterion in urban planning plans, preserving biodiversity, protecting natural areas around the city, using tree species in greening, and protecting the ecological environment for living organisms as priority tasks.
As the “Dendrology Garden”, we will make contributions to the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture”.
“Dendrology Garden” PLE will continue its effective activities in 2026 in the direction of environmental protection, plant defense, and collecting rare plants.
